Comfrey (Symphytum officinalis): This plant commonly known as bone knit, contains allantoin – a cell proliferate (encouraging cell division) which speeds up the natural replacement of bone and skin cells. It is useful for healing after a fracture (once plaster cast has been removed), ligament sprains and arthritic joints.
